Kenorah is currently looking for a Social Media + Marketing Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for that special person who is hard working, passionate humble and resourceful. Someone who will be able to understand our culture, our people, our processes, and our values, learn our stories, and convert this knowledge into clear, creative messages through multiple media platforms.
We’re expecting this role to be a 0.4 – 0.5 FTE (16 – 20 hours per week) depending on the chosen candidates preferences and availability.
This position requires the following roles and responsibilities:
- Assist in the continual development and implementation of Kenorah’s Marketing Strategy.
- Create, manage and post content to social media channels
- Create effective marketing plans and strategic options for advertising
- Develop and maintain good relationships with relevant media contacts
- Create and distribute company newsletters
- Present ideas to help promote the brand or campaign in new ways
- Work well in collaboration with sales and business development teams
- Coordinate trade shows, print media, awards submissions
- Blog content writing and coordination
- Coordinate photography and videography of select projects
- Regularly travel to jobsites to gather photos, videos and stories.
- Update websites and online platforms
This role will require the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous business marketing experience
- Highly proficient in social media content creation and social media management
- The ability to reach out to new contacts and maintain positive relationships with them
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Adobe creative suite, canva, etc.
- Deep knowledge of content marketing
- Photography and Video creation skills are an asset
- WordPress CMS an asset
